Eagles are MAGNIFICENT birds…
Flying right to the top of the tallest tree…
Landing with BREATHTAKING ease and precision…
FLYING….high…high…HIGH …
NO Doubts…
NO Confusion…
That eagle’s eye is locked onto its target…
Fiercely focused…
No hesitation….
It knows that it will arrive..
The eagle is the KING of its world…
He CARES NOTHING about what the OTHER birds think of him…
He doesn’t ASK HIMSELF…
“What will the other birds think of me if I fly to the top of this tree..??”
“Will they think that I am showing off…??”
“Will they think that I am trying to impress them…??”
Nope..
An eagle simply doesn’t care what the other birds think of him…
He JUST DOES….
EAGLE
The only thing that he cares about is doing what is in his heart…
BEING EAGLE
Talk about being TOTALLY FREE…
Of course the eagle is subject to gravity and the other laws of nature…
BUT…
He wears NO SELF-IMPOSED CHAINS…
CHAINS THAT ARE WROUGHT IN THE IRON OF THE OPINIONS of the OTHERS…
Chains that limit him being true to his own unique EAGLE-SELF…
He knows NO FEAR of the opinions of others…
Because he is TRUE to HIS OWN NATURE…HIS OWN HEART
The eagle has no reason to submit to self-imposed slavery…self-imposed captivity…
Caused by trying to PLEASE all of the OTHERS surrounding him…
HE IS FREE…HE LIVES HIS HEART’S DESIRE…EVERY DAY
The eagle is totally independent of the good opinion of others…
To Be Or Not To Be…THAT IS the Question….
Are you SUFFERING the consequences of living YOUR LIFE according to the mandates and wishes of others…???
There are many well-intentioned people…
Especially friends..family…loved ones…
Who have many ideas about what you and I should be doing…
If the advice that you and I receive from these wonderful people is not congruent with our heart’s true desire…
We risk living a totally UNINSPIRED life…
And that to me is a SIN….
A pure and utter WASTE of the irreplaceable gift of LIFE that we have been given…
You and I have the FREEDOM of CHOICE…
We can choose…
What we do…
Where we live…
With whom we live…
Who we associate with…
How we are treated as human beings…
We must HONOR ourselves to such an extent that we listen to what our heart is telling us…
And act upon our inspiration … we must live the life of an EAGLE…
Regarless of whether it makes sense to anyone else or not…
Regardless of what their opinion of it is….
We MUST exercise our FREEDOM to CHOOSE to BE who we are supposed to be…
And DO what we are supposed to do…
While we are here on Schoolhouse Earth…
Don’t allow yourself to die wondering…”What if…”
Don’t allow your EAGLE SELF to be a SLAVE to the good opinions of others…
An eagle in chains is a woeful bird…
An eagle that is soaring a mile high simply doesn’t care about anything other than being EAGLE !!
