Louis Gray FTC Disclosure Graphic

Many thanks to Louis Gray, LouisGray.com for this GREAT Disclosure Art!!!

You may or may not be aware of this, but as of December 1, 2009,  the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) requires bloggers and affiliate marketers to fully disclose any financial relationship they have with the manufacturers or providers of any products or services that are promoted through information and links in their content and sites. This requirement also covers the use of testimonials to support product and service claims and results.

If you click on this link, you will be taken to a blog post I wrote about this in November 2009. There are actual links in the post that will take you to the official FTC document and to some videos that the FTC produced regarding these new regulations. I have also given my own non-legal opinions of  “How Marketing Should Be Done” and I agree 100% with what the FTC is doing!!!

Here is my PERSONAL DISCLOSURE …

The author of this blog receives compensation when products and services featured herein are purchased. Results are unique. Your results will vary and they depend on YOU taking the required action to achieve the results YOU want.

Parts of this blog may be an advertisement for products and services that I personally use in my life or home or during the everyday operation of my business. I recommend these products and services because they have helped me tremendously and I want you to know about them as well. I don’t recommend or endorse people, products and services that I do not personally use or have experience with.

I actually HONOR the Golden Rule …”I Do Unto Others What I Would Have Done Unto Me” (How quaint, right?)

In a nutshell, I’m just being myself, a really cool (if I do say so myself), old-fashioned, retired big city Chef and business woman who decided to rewrite the rule book, learn and master some new skills and move from Brick-And-Mortar-Ville to the Interwebs. I am bound and determined to entertain, educate and help you get what YOU want out of your business and your life.

I am being HONORABLE and telling you UPFRONT that I might make some money and that you may or may not. Internet Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Direct Sales and Network Marketing are NOT a LOTTERY TICKET.

You are not going to “get rich quick.” Some people EARN lots of money, some people do not EARN any money at all.

My results are not even remotely typical

I’m not suggesting you’ll duplicate them or do anything at all for that matter. Do yourself a favor and don’t listen to anyone who insults your intelligence like that.

YOU, and only you, are responsible for your results!! Obviously there is inherent risk involved with all business ventures.

Whew!!! Now that THAT is out of the way…

Some really cool things that you should know about the blogging portion of my business!!!

  • People who purchase products through my links actually ALLOW me to keep on providing great information to the community as a whole, so thank YOU … thank YOU … thank YOU! I’m honored and grateful to everyone who allows me to continue doing what I LOVE to do.
  • People who request my e-newsletter or specific information about specific products will get LOTS of great information that will inspire, entertain and help them move forward with their business… you won’t even notice my cleverly disguised product pitches.
  • I will show you HOW to market on the internet the way I do, meaning that you too will learn about Social Media, blogging, SEO, creating programs and services to help others, affiliate marketing and earning a REAL, sustainable income online.
  • Since I don’t make income claims, I’m not going to promise you that you will make one red cent. The amount of money that you are able to earn has EVERYTHING TO DO WITH YOU – your work ethic, your mindset and willingness to learn and implement what you’ve learned.

PLEASE remember this always …

YOU are YOUR BUSINESS …
YOU are THE PRODUCT that people want …
and YOU are VERY IMPORTANT TO ME !

BUT…

YOU have to do the WORK!
That’s what I do every day… I WORK  (some days I work a lot harder than others)…
That’s what every other successful person I know does… they WORK …
And that’s what you will have to do too … WORK …

I am BLESSED because the work I do is so much FUN that I don’t feel like I am working …

I’m just having fun doing what I love most while helping other people have fun doing what they LOVE to do!!
