If you are anything at all like me…
You are GRATEFUL to still be getting invitations to the
Family Thanksgiving Gathering…
You have told your family all about…
the NEW patented nutraceutical that will help them feel better…
cure their aches and pains …
make them feel twenty years younger …
lose that last stubborn 50 pounds …
oh yes…
and help them to make more money so that they can… fire their boss…
spend more time with their kids…
have money left over at the end of the month…
get that new house or car…
pay for their kids' college education….
And they just weren't interested…
They all think that you are nuts…
They think that you should go and get another JOB…
Instead of wasting your time and bothering them with all of these crazy schemes and scams…
Well…you really don't care about what they think…
You know that you are on the right path for you…
And..since you know that you really have found a better way…
How do you get past all of that NEGATIVITY and SKEPTICISM…
To let them know what you are up to without pitching them again…
Without getting the Thanksgiving Day turkey thrown at you…???
Well..I am not sure what to call this…so I will give you a scenario…
You can figure out your own name for this…
It goes something like…
Hey Uncle Joe…I am so glad to see you.
How's everything going…???
You look great !!
Rose….Nice seeing you too.
Let's talk about the weather..the kids..
anything but one of those schemes you are always involved in…agreed…???
Sure Uncle Joe…I am not going to try to sell you anything…
I know that you aren't interested…
and I just want to enjoy the day with you.
I am happy doing what I am doing now.
I have found something that's been working really well
for me and for alot of other folks too.
But…I know that it wouldn't be right for you.
And you want to know something…after spending alot of time
thinking about it … I realized that I was being a jerk before.
I really didn't know what I was doing before…
So I got some training to help
me find the right kind of people to work with…
And now I know… that you just aren't one of them.
So…please accept my apologies for having been an idiot for so many years…
And you can believe me when I tell you that I won't be
talking to you about my business again. Forgive me…???
I do have a favor to ask of you though if you don't mind… I have some business cards with me…take a few of them with you…and if you should run into someone that is complaining about how difficult it is to lose weight.. or how much their arthritis has been bothering them…just give them one of my cards and ask them to call me. I just might have a product that they can buy that will help them…
I would really appreciate it if you would help me out like this…
Simple… easy peasy … and it works.
Uncle Joe doesn't feel threatened any longer…
You aren't going to bug him any more…
He is happy that you have finally come to your senses…
And he starts thinking about George and Frank complaining
about their arthritis the day before…
He now knows how he can help THEM…
The FOCUS is off of YOU and HIM… and on to other people…
NO MORE PRESSURE
You get to have your pumpkin pie … and eat it with everyone's blessing !!

I feel for you there, but on the other shoe! I come from a family of DSM….my dad has always had something on the side….so…
I vowed when I started a business of some sort (cuz I KNOW where the real money is ha ha) I would not bug friends and family.
But then I realized I was doing them a dis-service. I still remember once when I had been in the candle business for a few yrs and my BF had another candle lady HOST her party. I was, needless to say, hurt and angry….when I mentioned something to her….she said “well, you never asked me to host a party with you…I thought u wouldn't mind.”
We patched it up….and she only hosted parties with me in the future. yay!
Here's the thing…I assumed…I was bothering my friends and family…yet the truth is…if you don't ask them….or tell them what you are about…they will go and find that service (if they want it) with someone else!
Let friends & family know what you are doing…that its something U LOVE….then leave it at that…if they are interested..trust ME…they will come to you!
