This past week has been very interesting and tremendously educational for me as a marketer and a lifelong student of marketing…
I have been paying serious attention to the launches of a couple of really big gun marketers … Andy Jenkins ~ The Video Boss (which is a totally awesome program) and Mark Hoverson ~ Branding With Mark (a business branding course that is being fully endorsed and promoted by Mike Klingler, Ann Sieg and Mike Dillard).
All of these folks have one thing in common…and they ALL do it very well…
You know…
Mark Hoverson hit my radar several years ago when he and I were involved in the same business …
It has been amazing to see how he has grown and evolved over the past 4 years …how much he has learned…how much of a contribution he has become to our industry… he is truly one of those “outhouse to penthouse” stories that gives so much HOPE to other regular Joe people…
Mike Dillard has a similar story …. going from a Ramen eating waiter who had to hock his prize bike to pay his bills to banking $1 million + in 18 months…
Ann Sieg STRUGGLED for years to make her network marketing business work…and when she got IT…magic happened
Mike Klingler burned OUT and had to reinvent himself so that he wouldn’t go belly up financially… when he figured out how to stop killing himself…his life and business changed FOREVER
Andy Jenkins…a TOP video expert… had a film that was going to be produced by a big time studio and was told to go home when the studio decided that they would produce “Brokeback Mountain” instead….He got really PEEVED … changed some of the things he was doing … and then Stompernet happened…the biggest and most profitable product launch in the history of the internet…Andy was smiling all the way to the bank
These folks … mega successful now for sure…but not always the case…are real PEOPLE (yep…just like you and me)…which is GREAT news for all of us…
I can hear you now…”Uhhhh Rose…Why is this great news for me…???”… bear with me a bit longer…
re•sult ~ The consequence of a particular action, operation, or course… an outcome
Just about EVERYTHING that we do in life is based on recipes…
If I want to make great chicken soup…I whip out a chicken soup recipe…do what it tells me to do…and in a couple of hours I have a pot of chicken soup…
If I want to build a new restaurant…there is a recipe for that…so if I follow that recipe…I get a new restaurant….
A couple of CLASSIC EXAMPLES…McDonald’s, Kentucky Fried, Starbucks, Ben and Jerry’s…
So..if you follow the recipe…you get the result you were looking for right…??? My answer to that is ….SOMETIMES…
It depends on how well the recipe was written…it depends on how well you USE the recipe…
The folks that I mentioned earlier found the recipe that gave them the results they were looking for…
How did they know which recipe to use…???
They studied OTHER SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE’S recipes and followed them …
Did each one of them use the same recipe…??? Probably not…
But…what they did was start paying attention to all of the recipes that were around them…
And they tried alot of different recipes…some of them were pretty good….some of them were flat out terrible…
But…they knew that if they kept looking they would find the perfect recipe for them…even if they had to write it themselves…
re•flec•tion ~ A manifestation or result; Mental concentration; careful consideration; A thought or an opinion resulting from such consideration
So all of those folks studied…learned..implemented recipes from other successful people and were able to create their own custom tailored recipe that allowed them to create amazing results for themselves.
And…here is where this gets really interesting…
They then took their winning recipes and SOLD them to other people that were looking for “The Recipe for Success” …
They had people throwing money and credit cards at them for access to their recipes…
Most of these folks STILL have people throwing money at them for that information…
All LEADERS have a winning recipe for success…
All SUCCESSFUL COMPANIES have a winning recipe….
ALL LEADERS AND SUCCESSFUL COMPANIES HAVE PEOPLE THROWING MONEY AND CREDIT CARDS AT THEM…
Think I’m kidding…???
Andy Jenkins just sold OUT a $1,997 recipe for video marketing in less than 24 hours….
Mark Hoverson just sold OUT a $1,000 recipe for personal branding that was NOT publicly marketed….
When was the last time you stopped by a Starbucks that wasn’t standing room only…??? Trust me…it has very little to do with the coffee…
Now I want you to reflect …
What recipe is YOUR COMPANY selling you….???
Product…corporate websites…conference calls…big corporate meetings…collateral marketing materials…???
What recipe is your successful UPLINE SELLING you…???
Training CD’s…private coaching…leads…hosting…personal branding tools….business tools… that hot new generic prospecting system???
Just about EVERYTHING in LIFE is based off a recipe….
Starbucks…McDonald’s…Mark Hoverson…Rose Mis…Gordon Ramsay…Rachel Ray… Mike Dillard…Coca Cola…Martin Luther King…John F Kennedy…Oprah…President Obama
Now….I want you to answer this question….
What recipe are YOU selling…???
Skinny pills…business starter kits…silver coins…unused timeshare vacations…holistic chocolate…uhhhhh…other stuff ???
And just how IS that working out for you….???
When you start doing what other successful people do…
When YOU start studying…learning and applying SUCCESS RECIPES…
You will create your OWN recipe for success…and THAT is something that YOU can sell to other people…
YOU will be the LEADER that they are throwing money and credit cards at…
It took me what feels like forever to understand this…
The day that I GOT IT…
Is the day my business changed…and not long after that my results changed…
Now…I am having fun all day long teaching people how to create their own success recipe…
I work with some of the BEST people in the world…And I get paid to do it…
I don’t need to go crazy if something weird happens in the industry…
I don’t pay any attention to the hot new ground floor business opportunity of the week…
All I do is help people go from HYPE to HALLELUJAH … from pitching their latest home business deal to friends and family…from the traditional home business mindset to real world… time tested solid business building recipes all crafted around what works for them…
The recipes are out there …YOU just can’t see them yet…
All you really need to do is look for them… and when you are ready… you will be able to see them…
When you learn them and use them…
You will be able to sell them too…
And then…the rest just falls into place naturally…no more struggle..no more hype…no more pressure…
You will get paid to have alot of fun and have great people to work with…
And THAT is when you are stop working for a living… and start working for a loving !!
