JUST received the most marvelous text message from a friend…
It made me smile…one of those great big HAPPY SMILES…
It's meaning to me is soooo profound…
I want to share it with you…
Before I do that though…I have a question for you…
Do YOU know how to help feed a starving world…???
If someone had asked me that question not too long ago…
I would have simply said ….
Great goal… But that is IMPOSSIBLE…I will do what I can …but that really isn't very much…
I think of everything in terms of food because I am a Chef…
So as a Chef…
It is impossible for me to come up with a viable response to that question…
However…when I take a deeper cut at that question…
And I really THINK about what it would take to help feed a starving world….
I came up with a very surprising answer…
A way to help FEED everyone in this world…
A way to help NOURISH everyone is this world…
A way to NOURISH and FEED myself at the same time…
~WHAT YOU GIVE AWAY YOU GET TO KEEP~
That sounds counterintuitive right…???
How can you possibly keep what you give away…???
We have all been given GIFTS by our Creator…
And I believe that it is our responsibiity to GIVE back…
Actually it goes beyond responsibility… it is a Universal Law that is ALWAYS at work…
What you give with love in your heart….
Gets returned to you in kind … with interest…
Reciprocation flows from Divine Law that can neither be ignored or put aside…
Love is Law…Law is Love….
God is Love…Love is God…
Giving is loving with no expectation of return…
It is serving others… it is contributing to others…
And this is something that ANYONE…
Regardless of their current situation… CAN DO…
Anyone can do this RIGHT NOW…
There is no need to wait for the right time...
There is no need to wait for more money…
There is no need to wait for success…fulfillment…
There are so many different ways to just give…
This goes way beyond the boundries of giving financially…
A great big heart felt SMILE is a gift that you can give to anyone… at any time…
When you smile…people smile back…
YOU feel great….so does the other person…
YOU have just given them the gift of your joy … your love …
YOU have just lifted them UP….
You have just inspired them to smile back …
Right now..this world needs more joy… more hope… more happiness… more love…
What an incredible way to feed and nourish someone else… and yourself at the same time.
People everywhere need to feel compassion … hope ….
They need to feel like they are important …
They need to feel cared for…
…All of this from a smile…
Think about it …
A SMILE IS THAT POWERFUL….
People are STARVING for attention…for care..for concern…for inspiration..for love
People are so imbued with the daily negatively that bombards them…
That they FEEL like they don't matter…that noone cares…that noone loves them…
Sometimes all someone needs is a tiny handUP …. not a handOUT…
Your smile could be just that … a handUP ….
And when they smile back at you…
They get to feel important….connected…valued…loved…
GUESS WHAT…???
This doesn't cost anyone anything ….
Except the time to make the decision to be a giver…
And the time it takes to smile…
When you GIVE BACK… YOU are creating success for yourself and others….
Success based on creating value for others … by being of service to others…by contributing…by bettering other people's lives…
